The incessant evolution of the gold industry requires a constant upgrade able to merge with the expertise gained over time, in order to competently meet the needs of an increasingly
demanding market. This philosophy has accompanied, for years now, the Roberto Giannotti 1953 Group and we have based our activities on this
concept. I am sure, more than ever before, that the experience my grandfather handed down to my father is the real secret in facing successfully the challenges the future holds for us.

The goldsmith tradition of the Giannotti family dates back to three past generations, when Amedeo Giannotti started out his business in a small workshop in Via S. Biagio dei Librai,
in the historic centre of Naples. Then, in 1953, his son Roberto opened a retail and wholesale outlet, in the heart of the Vomero neighbourhood of Naples. And while his wife Lucia worked in
the shop, Roberto Giannotti travelled to get his stocks from the major suppliers and to make his small business known to retail customers on the local and international market.
The commercial brokerage grews more and more, so that, between the 60s and 70s, Roberto Giannotti established a branch at Borgo Orefici, the hotbed of Neapolitan goldsmithing art.
In the 80s, as the children also began to work in the company, by then an affirmed reality in the wholesale goldsmithing industry in the south, the family decided to upgrade their positioning on the market.

The small G. Robert workshop was established in 1992 in Borgo Orefici with the aim of capitalizing the experience and the goldsmithing tradition handed down from generation to
generation. When the Goldsmith Center “Il Tarì” was founded in 1996, the Giannotti family became leading actors, strongly believing in the validity and originality of the project; transferring to the large production pole of Caserta most of its interests and its business. On 8 December 2003, the Giannotti family celebrated the company’s 50th anniversary in the Neapolitan and Italian goldsmithing sector. This date represents a turning point in the history of the company and, therefore, of the family. So a new and structured view of the company was created, offering new scenarios and increasingly ambitious goals.

Roberto Giannotti represents the brand house of the Group with the production and distribution of medium-high end minijewellery.
The company’s professional staff is one of the most dynamic in the industry, engaging a team of consultants in strategic areas of communication, marketing, and in the fiscal and administrative aspects.
For years the Roberto Giannotti company has been synonymous to “Italian export” constantly expressing a particular sensitivity to the quality and performance of the most modern materials. The coexistence between ancient handicrafts and the latest technologies has made the company one of the most advanced national realities in the design and production of its own jewels.
