Salvatore Collaro has always been the Italian protagonist of the coral history of the last 50 years. Over the years, his life has evolved along the coral road, until it merges completely, as if the fate of the family was already written in that name: "Collaro", whose anagram is just "coral".

Salvatore found in Lella, his wife, a wise and faithful companion, both in life and in running the business. From an early age she made the most of that talent for coral processing that she inherited from her father and grandfather. The company, founded in the laboratories of Torre del Greco at the beginning of the happy 60s and thanks to the great intuition, mixed with Salvatore's entrepreneurial and managerial skills, has reached goals and dimensions that continue to expand today. Hand in hand with the processing of coral, Salvatore has always followed the continuous evolution of the pearl market with great passion and scrupulous attention: from the highly prestigious Australian to the Chinese, from the Japanese to the Tahitian.

This love for the pearl led him for long periods to the Far East where, with great abundance, he chose the pearls that currently constitute a fundamental commercial aspect of the company. Over the years the company has acquired the current structure, with well-equipped and avant-garde workshops inside which all the phases of coral processing are carried out, from the cutting of the original piece, through the so-called "rotino" foils, to the rounding and burin, up to polishing and punching the spheres. The new avant-garde visions of the daughters Liliana and Lucia are based on the solid foundations of the experience of SALVATORE E LELLA COLLARO, who have best mixed the value of the past, in the constant search for originality, resulting in a unique result of elegance, romanticism and absolute charm.
